Printer carriage

I have an epson wf3530 it's been a fantastic machine. I have a problem and need to know how to remove the ink carriage. I have taken out the cartridges and print head but how do I get the actual carriage its self out. The problem.i have the cable is meant to go round the back of the carriage but I can't get it in without taking the carriage out
