Printing incorrect number of copies

My Epson 635 is suddenly printing 3 copies when I have only asked for one.
Can anyone explain why this ios and how to get back to normal operation.?

Select "reset to factory default" at printer control panel.
Unplug printer for 10 minutes

Tried that bu it hasn't worked.

Brian: Are you printing from WORD application? Is your problem with photos? What photo application are you using?
Is your OS Windows or Mac? Are you scanning and printing direct without PC (COPY)? You should be able to select number of prints from printer control panel, if so. If using PC, turn-off power, remove power plug from wall. Re-start after 10 minutes. Do same for printer. Advise

I am using the Linux O.S.
If I ask for more than 1 copy it seems to print correctly. COuld it be a fault in the LInux operating system?
