I have an Epson Stylus Pro 4800 which I've been using on my pc for a few years now. If I share this printer on my home network to enable my laptop to use it, do I need to install the printer driver on my laptop as well?
My pc is on Windows 7. Laptop is Windows 10. Using mostly Lightroom and Photoshop 2020.When I go to select share on my main pc, it says I may need to install additional drivers if other users are on different Windows platforms.
Assuming that means I need to install the driver on the main unit?
Sure would iike to see a resource on this to clear my mushy brain.
As I would also like to streamline print setup sharing in lightroom, icc profiles etc. It's all good on the pc now but rather than starting from scratch on the laptop, I am wondering how to migrate the setups and profiles, etc.
Thank You
