Hi, All!
I have the venerable Stylus Photo R340, which has begun giving me trouble. When I turn it on, it starts to run through the usual startup cycle, up-down, back and forth, whiz whiz, BUT---at some point along this, it hangs on the little white L-shaped doodad on the far right, where the heads go when at-rest. It gives a big "WHANG", and pops the message "A printer error has occurred. Please consult your manual." Once I turn the printer off, the carriage slides back and forth with ease. But during an otherwise normal startup, there it goes. Any ideas?
Thanks!
