Recommend color multifunctional laser using cheap compatible toner?

I want to buy a color multi-functional laser printer. But of course I don't want to spend $1000 every time I need more toner. What is the best color multi-functional printer I can buy that works 100% fine with cheap compatible or re-manufactured toner? Some must work better then others. I want cheap toner like anyone else.
