Regional ink lock!

Hi all, I’ve moved from UK to Canada and took my printer which I now know is regionally locked as the ink number is different. Having just bought the new cartridges for $100 I’m annoyed that can’t use them despite it being exactly the same. Epson have made things difficult yet again.
Any idea on how to fix this and unlock the regional lock? Can Epson fix this remotely?
