Hi how can i reset waste ink counters free on epson r285

Hi.

There is a free Epson Engineers utility if you can find were to down load it.

Otherwise the answer is to use the WIC reset utility with a paid for key, obtained from the same people who supply the WIC utility. The key costs about $£€10. So not too expensive but it's only a one shot key.

Don't forget to replace the ink tank pads if you are not using a waste ink tank first
