Ricoh Aficio SP C830DN - New/Full Toner shows as empty

I am new here so please bear with me. We have a C830DN that is not recognizing new, full Cyan toners. We tried two refilled cartridges before moving on to a genuine Ricoh unit and still the printer states the cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced.

I have a ticket/e-mail out with Ricoh but they have been no help as of yet. Any advice/information would be greatly appreciated.
