Ricoh M C240FW - scanning to PC using the ADF

hello everyone

my brother bought the Ricoh M C240FW in order to scan a large amount of paper to a folder on the PC.
I managed to set it up so that Scan-to-PC works properly. However, this printer only scans the one page on the glass and since the idea was to use the automatic document feeder (i hope i got that right since English is not my native language) I was wondering if someone knows how to change that? I have been looking through all the options on the printer as well as over the HTTP-access to the printer with the search function. I only found one entry that seemed to go into this direction (I can't recall the exact name but it was something like "one-sided scan on the glass") but checking this box didn't alter anything.

select destination
press start button

thanks so much! i'll try as soon as i get the chance!
im did put the paper in the ADF and i heard a "noise" that made it clear it recognized it but i'll see if I can change something in the scanner settings of the program.
