Samsung C1860FW reset page count

Hi,

is there a way to rest the page count on my printer Samsung C1860FW. there is not much info for this particular model.
toners still have plenty of toner left but printer giving error message to change toner.

will changing the toner chip and not refilling the toner still work?
replacing the toner chip is only required once or each time i refill the toner ?

any help will be appreciated.

Hey, so to make a long story short, you cannot refill a Samsung toner, or change the chip. also you cannot reset the counters for a toner on any Samsung machine.

Basically the chip is designed to deteriate as the toner level gets lower so refilling wont work, the firmware is written to that you have to have a toner that has a chip, and the chips aren't sold separately.
