Samsung SCX-4521F not recognized by Win 7

I have a scx-4521F and when I turn it on I get a message that the USB port is not recognizing the printer. I have a small ink jet the is recognized when I use it. I have downloaded and installed the latest driver and I still get the same message. What can I do
to get this fixed?
