Hi All,
I have a Brother MFC-J6920DW (http://support.brother.com/g/b/producttop.aspx?c=au&lang=en&prod=mfcj6920dw_us_eu_as) printer which I would like to send scans by email from. I believe that this printer can be configured for sending emails by SMTP, however my ISP does not support this protocol. Instead it only supports secure protocols (https://www.telstra.com.au/support/...-smtp-information-for-manual-email-set-up#POP); will this printer support sending in SSL/TLS or STARTTLS protocols?
If it will not support the secure transmission protocols of my ISP do I have additional options? For example is there an App (for Smartphones) or a program for Windows which will allow me to send scans?
Kind Regards,
Davo
