Scanner cannon Prixma G750

Hi. Have windows 11 pro operating system. Bought a Prixma G650 printer but I can not get it to scan to my laptop.
Tried loading the cannon software suggested but it states I do not have a correct operating system. Bit odd as it's windows 11 pro on a new laptop from Dell.
Help please
