Should I clean these 2 Black Rollers in Laser Cartridge Q2612A?:
1] Developer Roller [=Mag Roller]
2] PCR Roller
[HP 12A,Q2612A, for HP LaserJet 1010,1012,1015, My printer is a Canon MF4100.]
I opened the Cartridge to clean it, because of the problem of gray bands on printed pages. Then I removed the blue OPC Drum so I could remove large pieces of debris stuck between the blue OPC Drum & a blade [wiper blade?].I'm being careful not to touch the OPC Drum opr expose it to light.
There is a lot of toner powder on a black roller which touches the [wiper?] blade mentioned above .
The second black roller appears to have a sponge texture & much less toner.
I'm still not sure which black roller is the Developer Roller & which is the PCR Roller.
I will use 91% alcohol Do I need to [& is it safe] to clean both rollers? How carefully do I need to clean each roller?
