should i exchange ecotank et-1810 for a canon

i just bought a epson et-1810. i checked my waste ink tank with wic program, and was horrified to see it was 24% full and ive only printed out about 6 photos over 24hrs.

i did as much research as possible and sods law found out that the user can reset a canon printers waste ink counter, after i had bought the epson.

it was £150 and an equal spec megatank canon is £190.

what are epson owners think about waste ink resetting?
