We are trying to set up SMTP on a range of Kyocera printers. They have a built in web based 'command center' where you set up the changes.:
This allows reports to be emailed when there are printer errors or a scheduled print count - consumable report.
There are settings for all the various aspects.
SMTP server Port Username Password Sender.
I set them up correctly using either ssl or not but with authentication on (a requirement of the service provider). I have repeated the process on some Brother printers that have a similar setup and they work so I know my settings are correct.
The test one is FS2000D and I have installed the latest firmware.
I get a confirmation that the email has been send with an OK page but no emails arrive.
So anyone have any experience with these issues.
Mr Warby.
