Solid green pages from Epson WF 5620

Any ideas!
It started off with the printer printing vertical green stripes on each side of the paper.
I looked inside and could see green on the "roller" (or somewhere) so I simply wiped it off.
I also cleaned the cleaning pad with some absorbent tissue.
I thought that it was improving but having left it for a few days it is now printing almost solid green pages!

I have obviously cleaned the heads lots of times using the menu.

any ideas at all? Epson said it needs repairing and that it must be print heads moving wrong, but it doesn't feel like that to me.

I have just purchased some new cartridges and they aren't making any difference.
