[SOLVED] Epson XP-245 won't connect to my computer via Wifi

I recently purchased an Epson XP-245 but have been unable to connect it to my laptop.

I have inserted the Epson Software disc and downloaded all relevant software onto my computer but every time I run the setup via Wifi the printer will not connect (the wifi light on the printer flashing red after a few minutes of attempting connection and the Epson software alerting me the printer could not be found). Does anyone know how I can resolve this problem?
