Solvent ink in an hp designet 1100

I have bought a used HP designjet T1100, I want to print on textile transfer media, however it requires solvent or latex based ink.

I believe the standard ink in these printers is dye based with the exception of one for the colours which is solvent.

I have found a CISS system for the printer, my plan is to fill the CISS system with solvent ink and use it that way.

My question is, will this method work?
