Will be storing my mx-870 for 6 to 12 months. Canon suggests leaving ink carts in machine and wrap in plastic bag. I asked if print head should be cleaned and they said not necessary. They said that the print head is "capped" by the printer which forms a partial seal on the print head and ink tanks. What do you think------will ink in the head dry out and clog the head?
