So all of a sudden my Epson C88+ started printing thin, very solid black lines across everything I print. Depending on what is being printed, they are anywhere from a little over an inch, to about half an in apart, but each individual line is only as wide as whatever else (words, graphic, etc) is being printed on that same area of the page (see picture)
I've cleaned the heads multiple times, re-installed the printer driver, even done test pages from the printer itself while NOT connected to the computer, and it does these lines right over the little test image. So I'm pretty certain it's a problem with the printer itself.
And yes, the ink cartridges are authentic Epson.
Any ideas? (besides chucking it off a cliff, which I've already thought about, and am actually thinking about right now ... )
