Tiny ink spots or small pieces of black rubber on glass

I have a model #TS5020 Printer / scanner / copier.
I've attached a pdf document to show what looks like 2 ink spots or small pieces of black rubber stuck on the underside of the glass when I do a scan.

Is there any way to access the underside of the glass to clean this off?
I've tried to tip the printer over and tap it/ hit it to jar them loose but that didn't work. It looks like 2 ink spots.

Any ideas?
