Turn on Printer w/Out Physically Using Power Button

I just purchased the ET-3850 Ink Tank printer. It seems to have all the bells & whistles, and I've downloaded Epson Connect, e-scan and, oh, I dunno, 3 or 4 other mini apps it comes with. Typically I only print from my desktop PC, and the printer is in the same room, but about 7 feet away. It's a bit annoying to get up and press the power button simply to print an Amazon return sheet or such. I realize I can keep it powered on at all times but that's not my preference. Is there a way I can switch the printer "on" without having to get up and physically press the power button?

I also have the same issue.
I talk to the assistant for the RDS team.
He helps me and finds a solution to my issue.
