USA MP990 in Ireland

Hi I am thinking of buying a Canon MP990 from Amazon in the USA.... I am in Ireland and I am aware of the power supply differences.

I have a IP4300 and at the moment and underneath on the power supply it states input 100 to 240V does this mean that it will work on either supply systems and does the MP990 have the same option?

I found one thread on this forum about a similar problem just couldn't find a satisfying conclusion.

Would appreciate any help!
