Hi all, thanks for taking a minute to give your expert opinion.
I have a printed sheet on gloss paper around 120-130gsm (I'd estimate) that I would like to confirm how it was printed ie. what process litho/digital/inkjet?
I spent some time many years ago in the printing industry, but only in sales, so while I have enough knowledge to be dangerous it would be great to get an opinion from some experts.
I have used a Dino-Lite to take some closeup images at about 75x, and close-ups were 2x that.
I'd like to ask your opinion on what print process has been used to produce this sheet?
The first two images are a section at the print edge on one side.
The middle two images are of some small printed text with no background colour (text height about 2.5mm or 3/16").
The last two images are at the edge of some larger text in the center of the sheet and the polarizer dialed down, so you'll see more light reflection on the sheet, and where I noticed a weird artifact - overlapping of CMYK curved lines shaped like a golf club/driver. Also wondering what may be the cause of such an artifact?
Thanks in advance.
