hi. i'm going to get a new printer and i narrowed down my search to 2 models:
samsung sl-m3370fd
brother mfc-8860dn
brother is older in 10 years. it's slower and has smaller resolution. but it has duplex scanning and it's cheaper. my main concern is how it handles paper because my current brother (mfc-7420) suffers from paper jams all the time.
samsung is newer, but i couldn't find any source speaking of its reliabilty, compared to brother. and i don't know how it handles paper. i tried googling "m3370fd paper jam" but didn't find relevant results. maybe it's because it does wonderful job handling paper, and it could be just because this model is still very new.
so i thought maybe someone here knows in general how samsung's all-in-ones handle paper and how's their general reliablity, comparing to brother mfc series.
i don't mind having an older and slower model, as long as it's reliable and the paper doesn't get stuck inside too often.
thank you!
