Win 11; HP Laser Jet Pro 4001dn.
I use paper with pre-punched holes (with the holes to the left in the printer tray).
For a long time the printer has been printing on the downside of the sheet. It would then continue sprinting on the upside of the sheet. This seems to have been the default and it has been working fine and I like it.
Recently however the printer has randomly started printing on the upside of the a sheet which presents a problem with 3 hole paper.
When I use paper without holes I don’t care which side the printing starts on.
I have not found a setting anywhere that controls which side the printer starts printing on.
My printer preferences
Paper size letter
Paper source Printer auto select
Paper type Unspecified
Print on both sides Yes, flip-over
Pages per sheet 1 page per sheet

Of course HP no longer supports this so they can't (or won't) help me.
Any suggestions?
