Which type of paper feeder is best at preventing paper jams? (top, bottom, tray)

I am planning on buying a new printer with wireless capability to use with a new laptop. My current printer, which is a top-loader, began having problems with paper jams after a few years. Which type of paper feeder (top-loader, bottom-loader, tray feeder) tends to have the fewest problems when it comes to paper jamming? Thanks.
