Why is my printer forcing me to print via the rear slot?

I just went to print something on my Canon TS6350 (paper tray at the front and has paper in it) and it won't print it. It's forcing me to print via the rear slot. I haven't changed any settings and it printed normally an hour ago. What should I do please?

I really would appreciate help. The blasted printer is still telling me to load paper in the rear slot and S*d's Law has come into play because I have lots of documents to print.
