HI I have a limited budjet and i want to buy a printer that

does the job well (reliable)easy to use
and that have inexpensive ink recharge (or easy refilling inexpensive)
printing time does not matter

optional:
color would be nice
if possible small size
if laser is much more expensive, ill stick to ink
no real need for wireless
fax would be nice
photocopy would be nice

Could you suggest me a good deal bang for buck from newegg.ca or amazon.ca or bestbuy.ca other online shop?( i read canon had cheap ink solutions in general )

thx
ps would PIXMA de Canon (MG4120) be good for 60 can dollar?

Thanks for providing a reasonable amount of info on your requirements.

If ....
* you are ok with refilling inkjet cartridges,
* live near a good sized city
* know what you doing, or willing to wrestle with a learning curve
* then I'd seriously suggest a used CLI-8 based printer from CraigsList that you can carefully inspect / evaluate.
* To me, it has been "all down-hill" since the CLI-8 generation of Canon printers, especially if you can refill carts.

* If you can clear a mild clog, you can find lightly used printers that would otherwise be thrown away, and offer the seller $10.
* Really, really nice 9000-2's were heavily rebated by Canon for years, and barely used ones are available for $100 or less... NIB for $150 to $200 (new in box)
* above also depends on your negotiating ability

To me, the MG4120 would be a terrible choice. To be blunt, I detest the "combined print-head + multiple dye inks" printers like the CL-241 based MG4120.

But perhaps a simple b/w laser would suit your needs?
