Work Around for Printing Custom Size Pages or Envelopes on Epson Printer WF-7840

I thought the printer was capable of printing on custom size papers when I purchased it but was disappointed to discover it could not. I'd like to print on A9 envelopes, which is actually a standard size (8-3/4" wide X 5-3/4" high for half size letter pages) but just not what Epson considers standard. Does anyone have work around suggestions to try?

Yes I did. I thought that would solve the problem but after it didn't work I called Epson and asked why. They said in reality the Epson WF 7840 only prints the limited "Standard" sizes that are listed in their app. Of course that doesn't include the A9 envelope. I have not tried other printer apps that claim to work Epson printers.

If you try with other printer apps that lists your requirements, that does not guarantee you will be getting a correctly printed result as the machine software configuration aligns with its hardware. But you may give it a try
