Xpress M2022W red light flashing, offline, help

Hi, my M2022W has suddenly stopped working. The red light flashes with one cartridge, it's continuous red with another. I don't know if the 2nd cartridge is full, I found it in a drawer. But either way it used to print until it was grey which I appreciated and I changed it when I chose. Could it be a driver problem? I use it via a USB cable as it stopped wirelessly printing months ago. I'm using Mac. Any advice much appreciated! Thanks, Jim

If it is a red light flashing with 1 cartridge i would be nearly certain it is a ink cartridge issue rather than a network connection issue. The ink cartridge is either faulty or out of ink i think. If flashy grey this could mean there is still some ink but flashy red sounds like no ink left
