You might want to check Brother's official support site first. If they don’t have it, try looking through their FTP archive or contacting their support directly. Sometimes third-party sites have old firmware versions, but be careful where you download from!

The printer is well over 10 years old and I didn't see any firmware files on Brother's website. I guess I'll check with their support folks and see if they have an archive of older firmware.

Actually, I just took another look and did find the latest firmware listed on Brother's website but it was the same version my printer is already running.
